I Will Be Speaking At Dreamforce Next Tuesday

I am thrilled to be speaking at Dreamforce this year... Next Tuesday I will be speaking about some of my favorite apps on Salesforce.com's AppExchange during what I'm sure is going to be the best Dreamforce yet.

The session is on Tuesday, August 30th from 3.30 - 4.30 pm at the Marriott Marquis. The session is called 'AppExchange: Discover Top Apps on the Leading Cloud Marketplace'. You can view the session in the Dreamforce app here: AppExchange: Discover Top Apps on the Leading Cloud Marketplace

Salesforce recently featured the session in their AppExchange digest and on their blog: AppExchange Dreamforce "Can't Miss" Sessions List

Random Bits of Advice to Help You Get The Most Out of Dreamforce 2k10

Here are some (random) bits of advice to help you get the most out of Dreamforce 2k10:

·         If you’re like me and plan on using your laptop throughout the day, be sure to carry an extension cord and your charger on you at all times; Esp. if you plan on heavy blog, twitter, email use. This is also a good way to make friends.

·         There are going to be 20,000+ ‘connected’ people under one roof. Assume the WiFi is going to suck. Be prepared to tether your phone. If you have a USB cable, keep it plugged into your laptop to charge... There is no use in carrying around an extra bulky charger when a USB cable will do.

·         Go to In-N-Out. Here is the closest one: http://goo.gl/Z30Kp

·         See Bill Clinton, Stevie Wonder, and of course Marc Benioff.

·         If you’re going to be around on Monday- check out the Hackathon at Cloudstock (registration is free and will fill up quick)

·         Make sure you have a comfy bag.

·         Network. There are plenty of networking events built-in to your Dreamforce agenda. Be sure to check out some other off site 3rd party events as well. There is a Tweetup and a Party at the MOMA.
